I’m not ashamed to confess that the only thing I can successfully do after 3 lessons in a row is to scroll and dive into brain rot content.

Было ли у вас такое, что песня ну прям заела в голове и не собирается уходить? У меня уже два дня подряд крутится “Капалавада” и точно эту неделю пропадать не собирается😅
Так вот, знаете ли как сказать об этом на английском?

1) Эта навязчивая мелодия, которая как будто поселилась в вашем ухе как червячок, называется “earworm” 🐛
🎧 God. I have an earworm. I can't get kapalavada out of my head.
2) Ну или проще, мелодия просто застряла у нас в голове, то есть “it is stuck”
🎧 That song IS stuck in my head.

Today I’m travelling by train 🚝and I want to share some vocabulary that’s connected to it.

🚂 Вагон- car, carriage
🚂 Купе - compartment / sleeping compartment / 1st class
🚂 Плацкарт - reserved seat / 2nd class
🚂 Нижнее/верхнее место- lower / upper berth
🚂 Вагон-ресторан - dining car
🚂 Отправление - departure
🚂 Прибытие - arrival

🌴 Finally started watching The White Lotus 🌴
No idea why I waited this long — rich, dysfunctional people on vacation? Yes, please. And also the vibe of Hawaii makes me fell more refreshed and calm, and can’t but say about the melody that matches it perfectly 🌺 🌊

One line totally stood out:
"Snitches get stitches"

Classic American slang. Basically means: if you snitch, you’ll get hurt.
These days it’s often used jokingly, but the vibe is still very *“say that one more time, I dare you.”*

Tbh, perfect phrase to drop at the end of a juicy gossip session. Or when your friend is about to expose your weekend plans. 👀
